We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization serving individuals in Columbia County, WI and the surrounding areas.
Our Story
People helping people. That's the goal. In 2021, a group of passionate and like-minded men and women saw the growing need to support families who have a loved one struggling with alcohol, substance use and/or mental health as well as to support the individuals themselves who are struggling. The Harbor Recovery Center was born out of this need.
At The Harbor, we will provide compassionate support, vital resources, education opportunities and events and activities that will build a culture of recovery in Columbia County and the surrounding areas.

What Makes Us Unique
The Harbor Recovery Center offers several important services for those we serve within Columbia County, WI and the surrounding areas. These services include:
Staff who provide:
Family peer support overseen by a certified parent peer specialist to families in our community who are finding it hard to cope with a loved one who struggles with alcohol, substance use and/or mental health; and
Individual peer support overseen by a certified peer specialist to individuals in our community who directly experience alcohol, substance use and/or mental health struggles.
A location to hold local recovery and support groups;
We provide referrals to those seeking AODA or mental health treatment and assist them in connecting with those service providers. We also provide guidance in connecting others with employment assistance, housing assistance, or economic supports as well;
Educational programming for individuals, families and the community; and
Events and activities for those we serve and their allies.
